My father age 65 has been on Leukine self injections (14 days on and 14 days off) for 4 1/2 yrs after his stage 4 no evidence of disease diagnosis (after surgery). He wants to know what the thought is about the maximum length of time one should use Leukine? Any thoughts!

I was on leukine for 3 years and was told that it was the maximum time to be on this regime. The immune system is supposed to reset after 3 years. My doctor said this is the proscribed time length.
