Blog Discussion Board > Is there any way to speed up the approval of ipilimumab?

Dr. Spitler,
Back in 2005 I contacted Louis Camacho about anti-CTLA-4 when I was first diagnosed. To make a long story short I did one dose of of Anti=CTLA-4 blockage folled by high dose IL-2.

It has jump started my immune system and the 40+ tumor in my lung are now gone. I have been
NED for 28 months. My Doctor was Kirkwood.

I have done the research and have found out that the doseage and timing of the two therapies played a major role in causing the cancer regression. My immune system was able to overcome the T Regs and activate my CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. I contacted Dr, Rosenberg about my findings along with Dr Kirkwood.

The problem is it is taking too long to get this Drug approved by the FDA.Is there any way to speed up the approval of ipilimumab?

Thanks in advance
